Benoit Detalle is an independent media producer, filmmaker and writer. We worked together at CERAN lingua as activity leaders. I’ll always remember the day I saw him filming a snowman melting under the heat of a hairdryer. It lasted about an hour and served as an end-trailer to one of his activity group projects.
That was just the start of time-lapse video creations.
I just got back from an awesome city trip in Budapest. My wife, Olivia, and I tend to do so more and more to increase quality time together outside of our professional and student lives (Both following postgraduates to affine our career paths) and our common project of renovating our house.
We have visited several countries together in Europe; Porto, Florence, Paris, Copenhagen,… We tend to choose our destination following lists of personal “must see” combined to Ryan air’s flight costs.
“Roll the dice” might change the rules.
Roll the dice is the result of the collaboration of Benoit, Marija Jacimovic and many other partners (see video) following the result of a European-wide competition called EuroShorts that was set up byVisitEurope and Screen South with support of the European Commission and Eurail.
Its aim is to promote a new way of traveling throughout Europe and it creates a huge need of doing just that.
The perfect mix between visuals, music and transition of the moments you want to experience when deciding to discover other European countries.
Well done Benoit and team! As for me, I’m going to dig out an old pair of dice and a map…
Here are a few extra pics from Benoit, enjoy!
